Main Screen
Main screen displays current / average / maximum speed (or pace, see Settings) as well as time, distance, training goal progress and calories burned. Units (Metric/English, Speed/Pace) can be changed in Settings at any time.
Main screen has "Details" button & "Photo" buttons. Pressing first one is equivalent to double-tapping the main screen, which will move you to Training Details screen. Pressing the second one allows you to take a photo.
GPS signal indicator is in top right corner of the screen. Its color can change from red (GPS signal quality is not enough) to yellow (good signal) and then to green (best signal). Tap it to see GPS data like latitude, longitude, altitude, vertical accuracy and horizontal accuracy. Tap it again to return to the main screen.
Tap lock button in the top left corner to lock screen. Now it is safe to put your iPhone into pocket, for example.
You can also put your iPhone into sleep mode (turn off the screen) by pressing top lock button, but only when iPod playback is ON in Settings. This means that in order to save battery life by turning off the screen you have to enable iPod in Settings and select any music from your iPod library.
You can easily switch between Graps, Main Screen and Map. Just flick from right to left or vice versa to check speed / pace & altitude profiles, or get some directions on a Map.
